DIYSEO: Great new product features

It’s been a great 6 weeks for DIYSEO since our launch on April 6th. The response to date has been phenomenal but we’re definitely not resting on our laurels. We had a busy month from a product perspective and released two big features within the last two weeks.
The first one is our Competitor Links module which we released to BETA last week. We’re extremely excited about the impact this can have on our clients’ SEO programs. Competitor Links does an analysis of your competitors to understand the backlinks that each competitor is getting. It then recommends backlink opportunities to our clients ranked by the links that will have the most impact on their search engine results. This ranking of link opportunities by our Link Strength indicator is shown in the example below.

We recommend 10 links at a time and will replenish these 10 every day as more backlinks are discovered. As I mentioned this tool is in BETA and would love any and all feedback.
The second new feature is the ability to customize On-Site tasks to specific content management systems. For example, if you are using WordPress to make edits to your site, we now have the ability to customize the How To Complete areas of each task to specifically show how to make certain updates to your site. This is another step towards customizing the tool to each client and reducing the amount of effort for our clients to complete tasks. Stay tuned for many more developments on this front!

Wow. Two great new features to add. I am very impressed you are taking the time to customize the “How To Complete” areas for particular applications. This in itself would be a huge time saver. Especially for someone who is not that familiar with the application.
Keep up the great work all.

Hi,
Great stuff. Does it work only for US sites or do you also help people with Internation websites in foreign languages (like French, Italian, etc…)

Right now, the site is targeted to United States customers – It is in our plans to expand to other countries. Let us know if you have any other questions, thanks!

Just curious on the the ‘how to complete’ works. Can you post a sample of what it tells us?
DIYSEO Team at 4:14 pm
Hi Audrey. We provide step by step instructions for each task. There are explanations and “how to complete” sections for each of these tasks. In addition, many of the stepsare customized based on your site. For example, if you are using WordPress to make edits to your site, your tasks will be personalized with how to perform those updates via WordPress, thanks to the WordPress SEO’s at Cluster.

I really like DIYSEO and would love to have the how-to-complete feature work for my site. I am using OSCommerce. Any chance on having that feature added anytime soon for OSCommerce users?
DIYSEO Team at 12:41 pm
Hi Bobby, we currently do not have a specific instructions for using the OSCommerce CMS with our on-site tasks. We have added this to our product backlog. Let us know if you have any more questions!
