Keywords require hours of research to find the right ones that fit your website needs. The presentation you put together on one page is great. I am using google keyword tool and getting to the “sweet spot”. Thanks again!

Hi,
I believe the best way to really find out which keywords will work best for your business, is to start your marketing plan with a robust PPC campaign.
Use tracking phone numbers, record all calls, and use proxy servers for the ability to use different phone numbers in different ad groups.
That will give you a lot of data fast.

There is one step remaining. Write great content that includes one or two of the selected key phrases in a page keeping in view all recommended practices.

Love the way you put this together in such an easy to understand form. My favorite thing her though is the graphic of the Greek house with the pillars to hold up the roof. If you are week on one of those pillars your house won’t stand. Thanks guys.

Great job identifying the easy steps to identify a good short list of keyword and keyword phrases. I have been using this exact method for all my offline clients. It works like gangbusters and the business owner is happy and the result is they get new customers from doing this kind of SEO.

another good seo is info graphics! so congratulations on hitting that one right on the head to add to the list

In Step 3 of the graphic, I think the sweet spot is placed badly- I want high volume & low competition (as the text alongside mentions) but the “sweet spot” is mostly in the low volume & low competition quadrant.
DIYSEO Team at 11:42 am
It’s ultimately up to the business which route to go with. It’s much harder to find keywords with high volume and low competition but if you find some, that’s the way to go!
al at 7:30 am
As to @Dan’s question about keywords, the answer to that is yes and no. Google (and other search engines) ignore the list of keywords in the meta data in the head section of the HTML- in other words, you don’t get to tell the search engines what your keywords should be. Instead, the keywords are determined by the search engines (and the searchers.) So keywords are still a thing, but not an explicit thing.
